In 2010, thousands of Kosovo Roma were forcibly repatriated from the European Union to Kosovo. Despite the fact that many had spent years living in the EU. They had grown up there, studied there, some had even been born there. This engaged documentary follows the story of brothers Kefaet and Selami, rappers from Essen who, from one day to the next, find themselves in Kosovo, cut off from the rest of the world and from their family in Germany. Kefaet was born in Kosovo and taken by his parents to Germany at the age of four. He was married and has two children. Selami was born in Essen and has never been to Kosovo at all. During a dramatic night in March 2010, they are deported to Kosovo, a complete unknown country to them. Separated from their family and friends they try to cope with their situation and do everything in their power to return to Germany. But administration and asylum laws are standing in their way.

The film was financially supported by Kosova Cinematography Center, Filmund Medienstiftung NRW, Kosovo Foundation for Open Society, Roma Education Fund and Synchro Film.
